The AEON Scholarship is a grant scholarship program targeted at self-supporting Asian students studying in Japan and students in other Asian countries.

The program was started in 2006 based on the desire to nurture leading academic figures who can help promote further interaction and cooperation between Japan and Asian countries.

The program provides scholarship students with not only financial support but also periodic seminars  and opportunities to volunteer in various activities, in which they can hone their leadership or decision-making skills.  In such way, AEON 1% Club strives to support the students to achieve their own future goals.

There are three types of the AEON Scholarship: AEON Scholarship in Japan, AEON Scholarship in China and AEON Scholarship in ASEAN.

For AEON Scholarship in ASEAN, the program grants scholarships to outstanding university students studying in Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar.

In Cambodia, National University of Management (NUM) in 2016 calls for applications for the scholarship for 3 undergraduates for 4 years. Students from Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP)and other countries in ASEAN should contact the university you are studying.
